To save you time understanding and ultimately your credit I took the time to get all the informationFeesYou can transfer your balance from one credit card to this one at a fee of 750 for balance transfers or 1%HOWEVER if you let MBNA do it for you there is no feeNo Annual FeeATM Fees are 1% of your total withdrawl uncapped 750 minWarrantyThis card has no extended warranty insurance perks whatsoeverInterest RatePurchases 1999 lance transfers and access cheues 2299 sh advances 2299%Rewards5% back for the first 6 months capped at 3000 Spend 3K get 150 After that its 1% rewards which can only be used on Prime members get 25% cash back So you need to spend 3280 just to get that 79 you spent on prime back as creditsForeign Exchange Rates25% one way If you buy something from abroad or even from You will pay an extra 25% Now if you return said item you don't get that 25% backAll in all it's an OK credit card if you are a big shopper but as far as rewards and Perks could do better I hope you found this review helpful Thanks

I was able to finagle this on opening day in round one back in August and shortly after applications were closed but they are open now again in OctoberThe only real positive IMO is the 25% off ca and Wholefoods again if you are a Prime Member We do a fair amount of purchases so this is a nice rewardThe negatives1 The old card applied a credit at the statement; this card auto redeems your points for 20 Gift Cards see Gift Card caveat below2 The exchange fine print you save the 25% exchange fee on purchases Go to an outlet mall in the US and buy 100 shoes you will get 25% cash back on the purchase to offset the exchange fee Return those shoes you will not get a 25% offset on the return purchases is stated in the agreement and what I have stated was confirmed by CSR The old card had a 0% exchange fee buyreturn no exchange fee no issues Alternative is Home Trust 0%3 Bonus offer is 5% off GroceryRestaurants but that falls off after 6mth3000 spend Someone had an idea that they think the 5% will be embedded in our brains and we will continue to use it well after when it is 1% No thank you I have far better cards to reward me than 1% for these purchases4 Gift Card watch for the warranty trap The real dirty pool is that all purchases default to include the Gift Card as payment with the CC as a fallback Suppose you have a 20 gift card from the rewards great Now you buy a 200 electronic item they slip in the 20 gift card by default and your CC pays the remaining 180 All good right Sure until month 13th when it mysteriously dies No worries you have extended warranty with your credit card right Hertz and not exactly For the credit card warranty to kick in you must have purchased the ENTIRE ITEM WITH THE CREDIT CARD Mixing cashgift cards is the out for the CC warranty company and all are the same At the end of the day it means you have to be on your toes and ensure you don't mix payment methods when the external warranty is integralI used the ca card a lot for US purchases the Visa exchange was pretty good much better than any bank Granted Mastercard too offers great exchange rates but I don't particularly like the 25% rebate for purchases I have a Rogers Bank CC and they offer 4% cash back works the same way as except 4% rebate to offset 25% When in the US I made purchases that might be returned some clothes with the Home Trust 0% fee 1% cash back and with the rest I used Rogers 15% cash back effectively after 4% cashback 25% feeThis card sadly will be relegated to just being used within ca and Wholefoods which is fine for me Sad how they played this all out as it could have been my new primary card; now just a weak outlier US version is mucho better sucks to be a Canuck as usual

No 0% foreign transaction fees like the old card

The no foreign transaction fees was the main reason I had the old card This card is pretty poor otherwise You can get 1 to 15% rewards anywhere

Loved the old Chase card but this offer is nothing special other than 150 welcome bonus 5% of 3000 spend To get 25% cash back you have to get 79 yearly prime membership for now it may go up in future I think I will pass for now

Tangerine MasterCard only has a welcome promo for the first 3 months but has 2% cash back on up to 3 categories of your choosing as a normal rate Beats 's 15 on grocery stores and purchases I was expecting
